It is difficult to understand what real pain is if you have never felt it and know about it only by hearsay. I lived with such pain for several years of my life. About five years ago I have underwent a brachiotomy operation. And since that time I have been constantly suffering from unbearable phantom-limb pains. That is really awful when you don't know what to do and where to hide from the pain. I have tried dozens of painkillers, I just swallowed them up with both hands and my organism stopped responding to them. That was the worst period, as in the beginning I could damp down the pain for some time and then I got deprived of this opportunity.
