Miglitol (brand names include: Glyset) is an antidiabetic drug.

Miglitol is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Miglitol is usually used along with a proper diet and exercise program.

Miglitol is usually taken three times a day. The usual starting dose is 25 mg (taken three times daily).

Precautions
