Cialis
Description
Cialis (generic name: tadalafil; brand names include: Tadacip / Scifil / Apcalis / Forzest / Tadalista) is an FDA-approved prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction, more commonly known as impotence. A man is impotent if he cannot achieve or sustain an erect penis for sexual activity.
We offer Cialis in several different strengths:
Cialis extra low-dose 2.5 mg and 5 mg
Cialis starting dose 10 mg
Cialis standard dose 20 mg
Cialis increased dose 40 mg
Cialis increased dose 50 mg
Cialis extra increased dose 60 mg
Cialis super strength 100 mg
Cialis super strength 200 mg
It is usually recommended to start with a lower to medium dosage and then adjust the dose according to your response and tolerability. Please note that you may require a low dose of Cialis if you have kidney or liver disease.
Cialis can be taken as either on-demand dosing or once-a-day dosing. Low dose option is good as a daily medicine, which allows you to be ready anytime. Higher dosages work best when taken as needed, prior to sexual activity.
Cialis is notable for its long duration of action. The effect of one tablet may last for up to 36 hours, during which you may choose the moment that's best for you and your partner.
Following sexual stimulation, Cialis works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function.
Cialis will only work if you are sexually aroused.
Recommendations
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Cialis exactly as directed.
Cialis may be taken with or without meals. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not take once-a-day dosing and on-demand dosing concurrently. Do not take Cialis more than once a day.
Your doctor will probably start you on an average dose of Cialis and increase or decrease your dose depending on your response to the medication.
On-demand dosing:
Cialis can be taken with or without food or alcohol.
Cialis should be taken prior to anticipated sexual activity. The amount of time Cialis takes to work varies from person to person. In some men Cialis can work as early as 30 minutes after taking the tablet but it is recommended that you allow 1 hour the first time you take it. Cialis has been proven to be effective for up to 36 hours. This means you can take Cialis and choose when you want to have sex over the next 36 hours.
Once-a-day dosing:
Take Cialis with water every day at approximately the same time, either with or without food.
When taken once a day, Cialis allows you to obtain an erection, when sexually stimulated, at any time point during the 24 hours of the day. You and your partner will need to engage in foreplay, just as you would if you were not taking a medicine for erectile dysfunction.
Drinking alcohol may affect your ability to get an erection, so avoid excessive drinking with Cialis.
Precautions
Tell your doctor before taking Cialis, if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you are taking any nitrate-containing drugs; or amyl nitrite;
you have heart, liver, kidney or blood vessel problems; or any disease or deformity of your penis.
